Getting started
Corbi is in pilot. Public sign-up is not open. Join the pilot by emailing support@nivens.tech.
Once you have pilot access, sign in with your Xero login, connect your organisation and follow the budget questions. Allow about 20 minutes. Corbi starts with last year’s figures; you review and lock the budget.

Connecting your Xero organisation
Sign in to Corbi with Xero and authorise read-only access to the organisation you want to connect. Only connect an organisation you are authorised to use.
The connection state is shown as “Connected to Xero”. Corbi reads reports and never creates, edits or deletes anything in Xero.
Disconnecting an organisation
In Corbi’s settings, disconnect the organisation you no longer want Corbi to read. To remove Corbi’s access entirely, remove access for all connected organisations.
You can also remove access in Xero: open the organisation’s Settings, go to Connected Apps, select Corbi and disconnect it. Repeat for every connected organisation if you want to remove access entirely.
Disconnecting stops Corbi from reading new data from that organisation. For questions about stored data, email support@nivens.tech. Proposed retention terms are in our draft Privacy Policy.
What Corbi reads
All access is read-only. Corbi reads:
- Your money in, costs and profit (profit and loss report, or P&L).
- What the business owns and owes (balance sheet).
- The balances of your accounts (trial balance).
- Your list of accounts (chart of accounts).
- Your existing budgets.
When your figures update
Corbi syncs every night between 1am and 5am AEST. On the 1st of each month it also refreshes the full previous 24 months.
Your rolling forecast combines the actual figures so far with your budget for the rest of the year.
If your figures are not up to date
Sync delayed
The expected update has not completed, so the figures may be out of date. Check again after the nightly sync window. If the delay continues, contact us at support@nivens.tech.
Reconnect needed
Corbi needs you to reconnect your Xero organisation before it can read fresh figures. Sign in to Corbi and reconnect, authorising read-only access again. Contact us if you cannot reconnect.
Frequently asked questions
Can Corbi change anything in Xero?
No. Corbi has read-only access and never writes to Xero.
Can I export my budget?
Yes. The report pack exports to Excel with formulas.
Is my data used to train AI?
No AI or machine learning is trained on your data. Forecasts use fixed rules.
Are the cash figures a finished feature?
The home page shows a fictional sample business. Balance sheet forecasting and the cash flow rework are still being built. Monthly email and the hosted multi-tenant service are also still being built.
